Uzo – Erasmus student

Uzoamaka, 30 years of age, is a Brit who studied in Germany as part of the Erasmus exchange program for students. She is now studying for a masters degree in Belgium and says she would not have been able to afford to take the same course in the UK.

James – Dung Beetle Scientist

James, 31 years old, moved to Lund in Sweden to study dung beetles for his post doctoral research.  This is the first time James has lived abroad. While he’s very proud of his dung beetle research, he says it takes a while to get used to the new language and cultural changes.

Jo

Jo, 38 years old, runs an English-speaking scouts group in Copenhagen. She followed her husband to Denmark when he got a new job. They have 4 children and she plays an active part in the social life connected to the international school her kids go to.
