Brexit – and what it means for Brits in Bavaria

Ottobrunn, Monday, 19 February, 2018, 18:00 – 19:00

Wolf-Ferrari-Haus, Ottobrunn (Nordfoyer)
Organiser: British in Bavaria

“What does Brexit mean for me?” “How will it affect my work, my family and my future?” “Will it have an impact on my children´s prospects?” Many Brits in Bavaria are asking themselves these and other questions right now.

Some answers are taking shape as the negotiations in Brussels move on to stage two. But vital concerns remain regarding, for example, continued right of free movement in the EU27 and recognition of qualifications. Is dual citizenship the answer?

British in Bavaria (a part of www.britishineurope.org and www.britishingermany.org) represents the interests of British people living and working in Bavaria, and offers support to Brits across Bavaria as they seek to understand the implications of Brexit for them.

Presented by David Hole, solicitor and Rechtsanwalt, and Ottobrunn resident Ingrid Taylor, a translator and rights campaigner, this event informs about the developments so far and outlines steps Brits in Bavaria can be taking now to protect their interests for the future.

The event – which is being held in English – is intended primarily for British people living in Bavaria, specifically Ottobrunn and the Landkreis Munich. But Germans concerned about family members and friends in the UK are also welcome to attend.
